The EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens presents “The Elephant Man,” by Bernard Pomerance.
Directed by James Brownlee and featuring Ian Ramos as John Merrick and Carl Galante as Dr. Frederick Treves, the empathetic doctor whose relationship with his patient causes him to examine his own beliefs about humanity.
Deanna Lalich, Darren Scharf, Carter Holland, Jym Evans, Kathy Brewer, and Meret Slover complete the cast of this beautiful and enthralling story of rejection and acceptance which is sure to enchant and engage audiences of all ages.
The play will take place in the EmilyAnn’s new Burdine Johnson Studio Theatre. The 72-seat venue will be configured in the round for this production, providing an intimate theatre experience for the audience.
“The Elephant Man” runs through Feb. 24 on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.
