The San Marcos Public Library is a popular place for area kids to spend time during the summer. On Friday, SMPL hosted Jungle Jim Klinger’s Bugs of the World show. Klinger brought a variety of different creepy crawly critters including turtles, salamanders, spiders and snakes. He is the Guiness World Record holder for longest African Millipede measuring 15.2 inches with 256 legs. Klinger is also working with Guiness on bringing home another world record for smallest turtle that measures about two inches. Klinger hosts shows for schools, libraries and birthday parties. To contact him email email@example.com or call (214) 980-3577. SMPL holds a variety of activities during the summer including a stick puppet theater craft on June 28.
