Andrea L. Ovalle, resident of San Marcos, was received in the hands of our Heavenly Father on June 9, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Born Nov. 30, 1936 in San Antonio. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, she has been reunited in Heaven with open arms by her loving husband of 56 years David G. Ovalle; son David O. Ovalle Jr.; parents Jose Merced and Encarnacio Lara; and brothers Ignacio "Ike" and Jose Merced Lara Jr. Andrea was such a loving person who showed her warmth and kindness through caring for others. She was on the Board of Homespun for 19 years and also belonged to the Texas Extension Education Association Club. Crafting was her all time favorite hobby.
