UWHC seeks partners for 2014 funding

The goal of United Way of Hays County is to partner with the community to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place.
To this end, the Board of Directors of United Way of Hays County has established Impact Goals in the three focus areas: education, income and health. These goals will serve as the guiding principles throughout the 2014 Community Investment Grants funding process. Funding requests must align with one or more of these Impact Goals and serve the residents of Hays County.
UWHC has begun accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) from health and human service agencies interested in seeking funding from UWHC for the 2014 funding cycle.
Agencies who are interested in applying for program funding must meet the following requirements: provide a program or service that will help United Way meet its Impact Goals, be a non-profit agency, have a CPA audit or equivalent and have been providing services in Hays County for at least two years.
Other requirements will be provided to agencies in the application packet. All current and past funded agencies must reapply for funding.
All LOI’s will be due to the United Way of Hays County office by email no later than 5 p.m. on March 1. Agencies will be notified by March 8 whether or not they will be asked to advance to the application round of the funding process.
For questions regarding the application or the funding process, call Michelle Harper, United Way of Hays County Executive Director at 353-1420 or email unitedway@centurytel.net.
