From manicures to carpentry

It was hot. Close to 100 degrees. But that didn’t stop more than 90 volunteers from First Baptist Church from volunteering for 20 service projects around San Marcos.
Some worked carpentry, home repairs, yard labor and gardening. Others did electrical work, community beautification, hosted game activities and outreach.
The four-day service effort, Mission Able, was the second annual mission service week hosted by FBC.
