HS Soccer: SM girls shut out San Antonio-Wagner

SAN ANTONIO — The San Marcos High School girls soccer team posted their second shut-out win in District 25-5A play with a 5-0 win at San Antonio-Wagner Tuesday night.

It was the Lady Rattlers’ sixth shutout of the season, improving their overall record to 9-10-2 and 2-6-1 in district play.

Ginger Ray scored San Marcos’ initial goal in the first half, taking an assist from Sarah Martinez, who finished with three assist.

The Lady Rattler then added four more goals in the second half.

Kyndall Ramirez scored twice Amanda Rodriguez and Risa Paredes-Juarez scores the other two.

San Marcos closes out the 2013 season Friday with a 7:15 p.m. home game against New Braunfels-Canyon.
