HS Soccer: Rattlers fall from playoff contention
San Marcos found itself in a must-win game Tuesday night; so did San Antonio-Wagner.
It shouldn’t be a coincidence that the Rattlers and Thunderbirds met up on the soccer pitch to determine who’d move into fourth place in District 25-5A and who’d be eliminated from postseason contention.
By the end of the second half, it was clear Wagner got the upper hand on San Marcos. Despite a steady attack, the Rattlers fell 2-0 on senior night.
