Home not yet sweet for San Marcos
An old rivalry was renewed Tuesday at The Snake Pit when Seguin battled the red-hot Lady Rattlers, who just returned home from a second-place showing at the Corpus Christi Spikefest.
San Marcos looked for its first home win of the season and came out with confidence and energy. However, the Lady Matadors had other ideas and took it to the Lady Rattlers in three hard-fought sets (25-17, 25-15, 25-17).
“We had some good streaks,” SMHS head coach Michelle Moreno said. “But we were pretty inconsistent tonight. The missed serves and dropped balls […] some of the same things that happened last week we had again.”
