Texas State Organization to host fun run in March
On Saturday, March 2, Texas State University Enactus (formerly Students in Free Enterprise) will be hosting their fifth annual Race 4 Relief 5K and 1-mile family fun run. The event will kick off at 8 a.m. in River Ridge Park in San Marcos.
Students and community members of Central Texas are invited to come out and change lives by taking part in the 5K or 1 mile race. It costs $20 to participate in the 5K run or the 1-mile pet friendly family fun run, or $30 to participate in both; kids get in free with adults. Prices go up to $25 on the day of the race.
This year, the event is raising money to help support the Komen Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, local elementary schools and Enactus projects.
