Ribbon cut for San Marcos Adventist Junior Academy

The San Marcos Adventist Junior Academy held a ribbon cutting and open house Sunday, Jan. 27 to celebrate the new school, which currently enrolls 57 students in grades pre-K through 12.
The event attracted hundreds of guests and church members from the San Marcos Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
The event included a multi-course dinner featuring foods from all around the world. The meal was prepared by Head Chef Mindy Smith from Michigan and her staff as well as local volunteers, including a contingent of staffers from Hays Nursing Home.
