PALS of Central Texas looking for silent auction items for Pet Fest
Pet Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas is gearing up for its 11th annual Pet Fest 2013 which includes a Dog Jog 5k and Fun Run as well as games, contests, pet costumes, live music, crafts and pet products and demos.
PALS is a non-profit organization established in 2003 helping to end pet overpopulation and pet homelessness. Since PALS began, the organization has given out more than 8,000 spay/neuter vouchers for local pets, according to its website.
The organization also provides emergency food for pets and educational programs.
Now, PALS is looking for the community’s help.
Each year, the Pet Fest has a silent auction that raises a significant amount of funds to support PALS’ spay/neuter programs, humane education and the pet pantry. If anyone has something to donate to the silent auction, call or email Anna Boling, the 2013 silent auction co-chair at (512) 757-5333 or email@example.com.
